West Beach Stickers: Common Question

Here's a common question I get from Beverly Farms Residents:

Can I put my West Beach Sticker into a Trust or pass it on using a will?

No. No you cannot.

Your Will and your Trust are capable generally of transferring property of yours after death to the Beneficiaries of your choice. You are not, however, able to transfer property that you don't have control over. West Beach stickers are the property of the West Beach Corporation, and follow very specific rules for their distribution. To be eligible for a Subscriber sticker, your name must come off the waitlist. For Residents, only those who are Residents of Beverly Farms within the beach’s defined borders are eligible to purchase a sticker. Therefore, the sticker follows the resident of the house in Beverly Farms, and cannot be transferred separately.
